What's on the last page?

This blog has a very clever title.

It has a double meaning, since it refers to that delicious last page of a book while also being a metaphor for the end of things. Things like, say, the world.

See? Clever.

My name is Stephanie. I have loved stories of zombies, vampires, aliens, magic, heroes, alternate dimensions, faraway lands and post-apocalyptic survival for as long as I can remember. I love dystopian stories that end in abject hopelessness as much as I love bright, shining, magical worlds aimed at children. I love books in which the hero dies at the end (although I do prefer at least a glimmer of hope) and books in which epic battles inevitably end in the triumph of good over evil.

I love books about the end of the world.

Don't we all?

They say that you should write what you love.  Well, as it turns out, what I love are stories. On Turn The Last Page, you will find reviews and reactions to fantasy, science fiction and dystopian books, mainly aimed at young adults. I'm wordy, so you'll have to read between 400 and 700 words for each review. If you're in a huge hurry, you could probably skip over a lot of the shorter words without losing too much of the meaning. You might also find a few movie or TV show reviews mixed in. And probably also some posts about preparing for the apocalypse, whether it's brought about by zombies or a meteor.

Because it could happen.

Enjoy the adventure!
